Shame the city wall isn't still intact, keep the likes of you away from the rest of the country.

It may not be Watergate but it clearly motivated you sufficiently to post this. I'll certainly sleep better tonight having read it. Yawn.

Crikey, they only did a couple of paragraphs on it, it's not like they are reporting it as a major story. I reckon they'll have been a few commuters in the station, not everyone of them will be a football fan so will not necessarily know what was happening.

Last time the Scots visited York in droves , they sacked the place.

it was a lovely sight this morning, loads of blue noses getting on the Manchester bound trains, didn't know people could drink that much Tennants at that time of the morning. Made the morning commute most entertaining.

And then there's the return journey tomorrow, "hey the races are on let's sack York like Great Great Grandpa used to!"

Marvelous....here's to Zenit lifting the cup!

Of course, Engish football fans are not known for their drinking and general bad behaviour whilst on their travels are they?

I'm not saying otherwise, my comments were quite tounge in cheek. Mind you having seen the reports this morning I can honestly say a small minority of them have done their team and their nation no favours whatsoever.

I suspect Russian Police however will probably keep these antics in mind when dealing with english fans next week.

And again rightly so in the case of a small minority, but let's just be thankful this isn't the 1980's anymore!
